Never So Busy

I don't think I have ever been so busy in my life. The list I made of things to get done before we leave on our excursion seems to grow everyday. Some days I get a lot done and other days seem to go by so slow, and at the end of the day it seems like nothing gets accomplished. Or, not enough gets accomplished.

Our departure from Las Vegas will now be between June 10th and 15th. The lease is up on our house the 15th so we will be living in our RV after the 15th. The frustrating thing is finding a home for all of our belongings. We have had three garage sales where we got rid of small stuff. Today we tried an estate sale to get rid of some of the larger items and it didn't go so well. We got rid of a lot more smaller type things and not the living room and family rooms furnishing I had hoped would go. One more time next weekend before we call in the vultures!

Our coach is ready to get on the road. I have had all the systems checked and the final adjustment will take place on June 4th when Camping World will replace our toilet. Turns out the seal was so warn out and the toilet wouldn't hold water so it needed to be replaced. Trouble is that it costs just about as much for a new toilet install as it does to replace the seal. Of course I'm not the mechanical type!

I discovered a leak in the valve stem on the front right tire when we started loosing pressure. That was under warranty. Coach sure rides better now and I don't feel like a disaster is eminent. I guess we were lucky to escape that 350 mile trip round-trip to Zion N.P. on Mother's Day weekend without a blowout.

Getting this blog up and running has been a process also, but I'm getting the hang of it. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?
